Review of House Party (1990) by Ka M — 28 Dec 2009
This was the best of the House Party series. The rest of them were not the same. The movie stars rappers Kid N Play aka Christopher Reid and Christopher Martin. They actually do a good job in their roles.
Like most teen comedies this was about two friends trying to get to a house party and have a good time and meet a girl. The story is standard but it works. Also the film is funny. Some very funny scenes and lines in this.
It was a surprise. Plus the film has that look and feel of the change from the 80's into the 90's. Worth a watch.
