Review of House on Haunted Hill (1999) by Gus S — 20 May 2008
As far as remakes go, this was not that bad. The set-up and plot run about the same as the original with some homage to that superior film. The film was not very scary. Instead it felt more like walking through the haunted house at a carnival.
But, at least we had Geoffrey Rush- and I'm sure that's what the director said when he saw the finished product.
