Review of House on Haunted Hill (1999) by Rickey K — 03 Jul 2009
I haven't seen the original, sadly, so I guess I can't judge this in relation to it. Geoffrey Rush was quite good in this, and I have a natural bias toward Chris Kattan, so those both helped out. Sadly, the movie itself just wasn't very good. I kept waiting for it to decide if it was going to be a comedy or a horror film, and it just kinda flopped at both.
Regardless, I still enjoyed it alright.
