Review of House on Haunted Hill (1999) by D O — 12 Sep 2011
There's something eminently pleasing about it - something that defies all logic of the audience and somehow retains some creepy, yet cheesy, feel. It's shoddy and under-done, no doubt, and it tries too hard to keep up with other, better horror/slasher/paranormal films, but any film that sees Rush, sporting a pencil moustache no less, meeting a grisly demise at the hands of some other worldly creatures puts some glee into anyone's day.
