Review of House of Wax (2005) by Jake A — 02 Jan 2011

This movie was released amongst a wave of horror duds however this is the exception, it is by no means perfect but it is better than average. The premise is intresting, nice amount of scares, quite tense and it uses gore to effect.

However there are problems as it still has that typical American teen cliche, the majority of the soundtrack is pure trash, it could have been a little shorter, the script is pretty poor and the acting isn't up to scratch.
