Another remake that is at least better than the 1950 classic. When I saw the film itself it was pretty good for one reason. The only thing I don't like about this film it's because there is one actress who ruined the entire film and the name of the actress is Paris Hilton.
She was terrible and I didn't like the way she was acting in this film for one reason she instantly spoiled the entire film and I hated that actress for one reason. I like Elisha Cuthbert better in this film than the annoying Paris Hilton.
The rest of the cast was also good in acting but I think that they were all better (except for Paris Hilton who instanty ruined the entire film because of her dumb acting). One of the best things I like about this film is that the film itself has loads of realistic and good special effects and there is one example which is the scene when Wade turns into a wax sculpture in which the cool thing about that scene is when the wax instantly sprays his entire body until he is a wax sculpture already.
The violence was incredibly intense and it was realistic as well and there are some scenes that were incredibly intense and sometimes a bit creepy in some moments. The scene when Wade gets his faced slashed of by Vincent was incredibly realistic and intense for some reason and the last part of the film was really good.
The scares were also good and the climax of the film is incredibly suspenceful and dark. Director Jaume Collet Serra has done a better job with his directing in this remake of the 1950 classic. The film itself would have been better if they had some more good actors and actresses because Paris Hilton ruined the entire film and if she wasn't in this film then I could watch the film instantly but the rest were really good and they were talented as well.
This remake gets a 6/10 because the film itself has good special effects, The violence is even intense, and the climax was even dark and atmospheric. But if I would give this film a 7/10 only if there were more actors and actresses who are really good in acting and the reason why I gave this film a 6/10 it's because of Paris Hilton she ruined the entire film and I was glad that she won the Golden Raspberry award for worst actress in House of Wax.
You are a terrible actress Paris Hilton thanks alot for ruining the entire film you are not a good actress and I hate you for doing that!
