Review of House of Wax (1953) by Emilia B — 24 Jun 2009
Vincent Price is good as...Vincent Price but a really nice little flick on the whole. The most gruesome moment is however not the conclusion with the promise of sudden death but the melting wax mannequins in the beginning.
And have you noticed that all the good guys in moves like these (here played by Paul Picerni) are complete squares, overshadowed by even the smallest female roles.
