Review of House of Wax (1953) by Ann D — 11 Oct 2009
It started out really well with Vincent Price as a creepy but charismatic artist in a wax museum... then it sort of went downhill after that. Every scene with Vincent Price was good, but the movie suffers horribly because it shows too much too soon in the film, leaving nothing to the imagination- which is really a bad thing in a horror film.
