Review of House of Wax (1953) by Jeff B — 23 Aug 2010
Very entertaining Vincent Price film about a wax figure sculptor who seeks revenge on the man who destroyed his sculptures. The opening is very cool, a great set up, and the scenes at night, particularly the chase across the rooftop and the brick streets was perfect.
They donâ??t make horror films like this anymore (unless theyâ??re remakes starring Paris Hilton). Great looking villain, great setting, and a great ending.
