It's a fun, brainless shoot-'em-up zombie flick; people often make the mistake that Boll is out to win Academy Awards... but he's not. He's making the films that he wants, in the best way that he knows how.
That doesn't mean he's making good films, it just means that his heart is in the right place. And it shows.
