Review of House of the Dead (2003) by Dalton N — 19 Jul 2011
There are a lot of films out there, that are so bad they're good...unfortunately House of the Dead is NOT one those films. House of the Dead is actually of a rarer breed, it's so bad it's painful.
While watching it, you can actually feel each of your individual brain cells explode, for they can not comprehend that something so horrible exist. Between the atrocious acting(that would make even the very worst of porn stars blush)and the nonsensical script and plot, lies something much.
..much worse...the directing of Uwe Boll. Uwe Boll has become quite the icon, because he stands for what most filmakers strive not to be. Having not known who Uwe Boll was, or his history prior to seeing this "film," I went in expecting to watch something so horrible, that it would be entertaining.
..well by now you know how that went. I've had more fun hanging out at abortion clinics than I did watching this atrocity. The worst "film" I've ever seen.
