The 52nd worst film ever made according to current IMDB rankings, haha.
It's awful, but it's not utterly, unredeemably awful (1/2 a star) I feel, since the non-stop action makes it kind of fun. It's one of those "it's so bad it's good" films.
I watched it for two reasons: Erica Durance and because I like the House of the Dead games that I've played.
It was stupid the way they kept splicing game footage in here, as if they're going "look - we ARE sticking to the games". But they really needed to put a hell of a lot more effort into this - craft a better story and not have the dialogue and general feel be so silly.
The action was a mix of intricate and over the top camera swirls and slow motion, and the zombie costumes were mostly shoddy.
