Review of House of Sand and Fog (2003) by Mika Y — 26 Mar 2008
A rather good tragedy / drama movie focusing on a conflict about the ownership of a house between its original inhabitant (a lonely woman), and an immigrant and his family. Even though both characters evoked some sympathy in me for their motives, the conflict slowly escalates and eventually causes severe repercussions for everyone involved.
