Review of House of Sand and Fog (2003) by Arnaldo C — 01 Aug 2008
Even though the entire plot seemed surreal, it fell in place naturally and I was pleasantly surprised by the lack of narration. This movie is one of the darkest I've seen in years, but its attempt to examine the American dream and individual morality and values is pulled off well albeit tragically.
