Hrmm. The performances were alright. And it was sad and all..but... well let me just break it down for you. Jennifer Connelly starts the film off as a complete idiot. As it goes on she just gets stupider and stupider and happens to meet some other people who are complete and total idiots and together they all make a bunch of horrible and idiotic choices that end up screwing themselves over.
The end! It's sad and all but how can you feel bad for a woman who can't check her mail? and a cop who's just a total jerk in his personal AND professional life? tell your family you're an idiot - and then take the thing to court and get your house back.
she even says something like "I could take it to court but then..." And doesn't ever finish the sentence. What's the but then? There isn't one - you're just an idiot.
