While Jennifer Connelly and Shohreh Aghdashloo are good actresses, surely they need not make a movie as depressing as "House of Sand & Fog" to demonstrate their skills. Oh yes, there's also Oscar-winner Ben Kingsley, but this film's only one step back up out of many steps down in his recent career with "The Love Guru" & "The Dictator" to follow.
