Review of House of Games (1987) by Jordan G — 06 Jan 2014
In his first effort as a director, David Mamet pours on the noir in this modern grifter gang drama. Perhaps a little overwrought, but the cast and Mamet's smooth dialogue keeps the intrigue rolling along in a pretty deft first-time effort.
