Review of House of Fury (2005) by Robyn M — 15 May 2012
Unlike many exaggerated Asian action films and Eastern Eye films this is really good. For starters its like Spy Kids meets Jet Li. The film has really very well crafted characters with very well scripted writing, if you took out the chinese diaologue it would pass as a American film.
But its brilliant the way it is, the actors don't over esaggerate their acting but play their parts very well with some intentional wacky humor inserted in,fights are choreographed by Yuen Woo Ping and its produced by super star who we all know Jackie Chan.
It could have gone on longer, otherwise there is enough there to keep you entertained. Plus the cover can be decieving in some ways.
