Review of House of Frankenstein (1944) by David S — 16 Oct 2007
Probably the best of the monster face-offs made by Universal, with a fast-paced story and excellent performances. Boris Karloff is fantastic as the mad scientist Dr. Niemann. Lon Chaney Jr is back for another good turn as the tortured Wolfman.
David Carradine ably takes on the role of Dracula, and Glenn Strange is a welcome addition as the Frankenstein Monster. One of my favorite old horror movies.
