Review of House of Frankenstein (1944) by Art S — 08 Feb 2012
Here we've got Dracula, the Wolf Man, and Frankenstein's monster all crammed into one (very loose and pretty incomprehensible) plot -- each with their trademark schtick. Only Lon Chaney Jr. is the "original" star, but Karloff is here in another role (a mad scientist) and so too a number of Universal character actors.
If you love monsters, then this is great for creepy atmospherics and ridiculousness - the ending is awesome and unexpectedly abrupt.
