Some people chuckle at the fact that it has cheesy Bryan Adam scenes in it. Those people, however, are the ones who don't know how Russians adored cheesy American culture.
That said, the movie is challenging and will seem offensive to Western audiences for its depiction of the mentally ill. Other than that, it's one of the greatest movies ever.
