A beautiful movie... at least for the first hour or so. The fascinating action sequences and brilliant settings had me ogling at the screen, but once the film began to focus more on the romance it started to drag.
Although, it still did manage to keep my interest and had me anticipating the conclusion. Even if the first half is significantly stronger than the last, House of Flying Daggers is still very satisfying entertainment.
