This was a powerful movie on my second and more deeply attuned viewing. the story is quite strong and reminiscent of classical myth making. also. I must point out the colours are ASTOUNDING. I have as of yet seen any colour in either costumes,sets or in cinematography that is this aware of colour and the mixing of emotions with them.
through its innovative echo games to its brillinat colours and sets. this is one movie I wont soon be forgetting or degrading in my mind over time. thank you yimou zhang for directing this and ziyi zhang for making me interested in this film in the first place.
