The first half of this movie hooked me. The last half lost me. I think it had potential to be an interesting film, but went in too many directions. Doctor Satan's character could have been a separate film altogether instead of throwing him in at the end.
I love Rob Zombie's music, and I know he is a huge horror movie fan, but he has yet to bring anything new to the table. This film is too much of a Texas Chainsaw Massacre ripoff. I think it would help a LOT if he would stop putting his wife in his films-- her acting is atrocious.
