A bloated mess choked by overly eccentric characters, a cheese-smothered narrative and odd splurges of outlandishness. 'House Of 1000 Corpses' certainly isn't lacking frightening visuals and disturbing scenes, but the haphazard narrative and inconsistencies cause this bizarre mess to miss the 'Cult Horror' target by a mile.
Freakishly outlandish, poorly constructed, and annoyingly ostentatious.
