Review of House of 1000 Corpses (2003) by Jani M — 26 Jul 2011
It's been a good while since saw this last time and have to say that time had knackered this one a bit. Things that were absolutely disturbing almost ten years ago aren't that shocking today. I guess that tells about the fucked up state of the world we live in.
Still movie is very interesting collage of horror and torture. Real homage to gritty horrormovies of the 70s. It also has several interesting characters like Captain Spaulding and psychotic blonde-bimbo Baby.
Even that this isn't that good of a movie, it is terrific experience.
