Review of House of 1000 Corpses (2003) by Joshua B — 27 Jul 2012
It has Rainn Wilson. It makes good on its implied promise of gross-out moments and B-movie schlock. But it does everything with all visual integrity and attention-grabbing insipidity of a seven-year old waving a dead cat out a window.
Rob Zombie's complete lack of cinematic skill and inability to produce anything with a camera that doesn't feel like a bad 80s music video made the experience of watching this movie ninety minutes of more profound torture than any of the characters in the film experience.
Utter garbage.
