Review of House of 1000 Corpses (2003) by John A — 04 Oct 2014
The Unoriginal Tale Of Murderous Hillbillies Is The Basis Of Singer/Songwriter Rob Zombie's Directorial Debut. Four Young Couples Are Attacked, By A Sadistic Family & Must Escape To Save Their Lives.
The Plot Is Basic, Overused & May Sound Terrible, But Zombie's Unique Style Makes It Interesting. It's Expertly Written, Filmed In The 70' Exploitation Style With Zombie's Unique Twist.
This Won't Be To Everyone's Taste, But I Found It To Be A Well Made & Weirdly Entertaining Film.
