Embedded in this film is nearly every horror convention you could imagine, so that we're left watching somewhat of a satire on what no longer works in the genre. Jennifer Lawrence was enjoyable to watch, but neither herself nor the cheap scares thrown in sporadically saved this film from being a disappointment.
