Review of House at the End of the Street (2012) by Kenneth B — 30 Aug 2013
Mark Tonderai's Hush was roundly, and unfairly, lambasted by the critics. Jennifer Lawrence, so far, has shown herself to be nothing less than a remarkable actor. Also I sort of like Elizabeth Shue.
So it's all the more puzzling that this film is so inept, so not scary and so farcical. Perhaps it was a mere blip for Tonderai and Lawrence was just getting the scream queen thing out of her system.
Lets hope.
