Review of House at the End of the Street (2012) by Don S — 23 Oct 2014
A chilling horror flick- for only half an hour. The first 70 minutes really let the film down- boring, not scary, tonally inconsistent, and nonsense acting/writing. However, once the horror elements come into full swing, although a large reliance on jump scares, it is physiologically scary- the villain is very creepy and has a convincing backstory and motivation.
Probably a pass owing to the first 2 acts though.
