I thought over all the movie to be an emotional ride as a parent. Paul Walker's portrayal as a desperate father was surprisingly realistic, as I've only seen him in the Fast and Furious films. but, as a pediatric ICU nurse, the scenes involving the baby were cause to criticize.
the producers could have done a little more research or obtained a pediatric professional as a consultant to provide a more realistic experience. that was the film's downfall. I suppose that's why I steer away from medical situations.
