Review of Hotel Transylvania (2012) by Davidtejada — 05 Nov 2016
"Transylvania" has nothing in common with "California" and might be a little stupid. However what impacted here was not only the induction of the most evil and beloved villains in a super fun way, but also the touching situations that teenagers experiment while they're in love, and I believe "Transylvania" crafted it perfectly for children and young viewers, with honest emotions and some corny moments.
Being honest, "Johnny and Mavis" had their moments and it'll definitely earn your emotions. Even Dracula and his gang showed that even though they're villains, they still have heart and good intentions :) (what I loved about the movie).
HOWEVER there were parts (so many) in which I left my WTF face (just take the ending) and also when there were too much childish scenes which also made the movie more than immature sometimes. So as you can see as an animated movie it has its deficits but it's still fun, now as a romantic movie it works better.
