Review of Hotel Transylvania (2012) by Dr. F P — 24 Nov 2013

I thought that perhaps Adam Sandler couldn't ruin this with JUST his voice? Hotel Transylvania is superior to all of his other movies but it's not a knock out. There are a lot of different things I liked about this, but they're more background layers, like the fly teaching aerobics and the design of the hotel with all of its defences and the shrunken heads.

I thought the story wasn't all that great and I pretty much disliked EVERYTHING about the human guy to the point of annoyance. Why does every animated movie have to be overly preachy with family values shoved down our throats too? It could have also been a lot more creepier and maybe taken a few chances instead of playing it by the book.
