Review of Hotel Transylvania (2012) by Richard D — 25 Nov 2013

I kind of wanted to like this. Not that I thought it would be great, but hoped an animated monster flick might be an entertaining diversion. It isn't really, and I should have known better given the talent involved. It's not terrible, but it's dismaying how often it resorts to fart jokes and their equivalents. The plot is extremely predictable ... anybody even passingly familiar with movies will know exactly where this is going after the first 10 minutes. The Selena Gomez voiced vampire chick is kind of cute ... so there's that.

Oh well.
