Review of Hotel Transylvania (2012) by Gannett S — 04 May 2015

I tend to critique videos based on how much I fast forward throughout the course of the film. Some, most recently Kingsman, I can fast forward through roughly half the film and not miss anything but corny action scenes. This film I tried - really tried - to fast forwards a couple times, but every time I realized I'd missed something and had to go back and watch it again. When it comes to plot density, very near to 100% of this film is relevant. Even the actiony scenes almost always contribute to, at the least, character development.

And gosh darn it, that ending song might be corny and awful, but I just can't help but like it. Why? Because this film, while lacking in innovation and absolute skill, makes up for it in heart.
