Underrated fun movie. Some of the scary effects are overdone otherwise it could've been marketed like a Pixar movie and made zillions. It gets some of the emotional aspects regarding father daughter boyfriend correct and comes across as less frenetic and more heartfelt than similar attempts at the funny monster movies.
