Review of Hotel Transylvania (2012) by William T — 09 Feb 2016
Hotel Transylvania's "overprotective father" outline maybe a done-to-death story cliche but it makes up for that with nostalgic art direction by Dexter's Laboratory creator Genndy Tartakovsky, a working blend of kid-friendly slapstick with adult-orientated humor, and hilarious pop culture references, most notably; Dracula's comment on The Twilight Saga.
Not a bad animated film, I recommend it. 3.5 out of 5!
