Why are so many people reviewing this film with an adult perspective? Cartoons and animation are meant to not be like the real world nor is it supposed to be compared to a "standard" (which really shouldn't exist beyond the basics of being family friendly and entertaining).
It's all about as being mostly illogical and semi-crazy as possible which every other "expert" reviewer criticized this film for. Stop using your adult mind to review cartoons/animated and view it like it is for what it is, something that is unreal and crazily entertaining.
We're talking about a film of monsters in an animated film. What logic do you expect to be used? Just sit down and truly enjoy the cartoon gold that children in the 90s enjoyed before animation became too realistic and predictable.
