Review of Hotel Transylvania (2012) by Brandon W — 12 Sep 2014

I was worried going in to see Hotel Transylvania consider that it has Adam Sandler as Dracula as his recent comedy films are annoying and unfunny. But I gave it a benefit of the doubt as it has the same director who made Dexter Laboratory and Samurai Jack and it's the first film he made.

So when I watched it, it really surprised me because it is really good. It has the typical kid's movie plot, but the fast pace animation and surprisingly funny jokes saves this movie. The jokes go by fast, but most of them worked.

The voice cast is really good and Adam Sandler really worked for me which surprised me. The characters are memorable and they use their disadvantage as jokes which were effective. The rap song at the end is funny, but it wasn't necessary to do and I think they know that too.

As it is, Hotel Transylvania is great kids movie that adults and kids would like, and it really won me over when they made fun of Twilight.
