As my sister said: "This is more of a Straight-to-DVD movie, than an actual sequel." The animation was atrocious compared to the original film, and was distractingly bad. It made most of the beginning of the film unwatchable, as was the acting from it! I was surprised to see that it was directed by the same guy as the first one.
The first film also has a boring beginning, but compared to this movie it was a great beginning. The winning parts of the film were the little romance between the two kids, and the Peter Lorre GPS which made me forget that I hated most of it.
Still, at the end of the day it was very "meh" and more worth of a watch if it suddenly pops up on Netflix. Just watch the original, and bootleg/Netflix this one. I do not condone bootleg torrenting.
