Review of Hotel Rwanda (2004) by Eklektik E — 15 Mar 2011
Gripping film about the Rwandan atrocities in the Hutu/Tutsi conflict. It personalized an event that so many simply saw on TV, and maybe for a moment, said "What a shame" and then changed the channel.
A simple hotel manager put his life on the line and the lives of his entire family in order to save as many people as he could. It was an emotionally compelling film.
