Review of Hotel Rwanda (2004) by Yavuz I — 31 May 2012
Liked it a lot though it didn't do a great job of explaining what exactly was happening. Having read Shake Hands with the Devil and other materials about the genocide I found Nolte's characterization of Dallaire a bit unfair and shallow.
The 'everyone lives happily ever after' ending was also a bit out of touch with the tone of the rest of the movie.
