Review of Hotel for Dogs (2009) by Gavin M — 02 Aug 2011
The first 30 minutes are a bore as there is way too much set-up for a simple story. Once the hotel is established, there are a few cute scenes as the kids set it up and the dogs (pardon the pun) walk us through the place. The rest of the film plays out as expected, but very slowly.
There are missed opportunities all over the place to make this a better than average kids flick, but the actual result is way below mediocre.
