Review of Hotel Chevalier (2007) by Stephanie P — 07 Nov 2007

I didn't realize that they were counting this as a separate movie from The Darjeeling Limited -- but cool.

I thought this was a pretty good prologue to the movie and I liked seeing Natalie Portman in a role that's different from what she normally plays (albeit a short one). She's one of my favorites and I thought she did a really good job as the callous ex (a good contrast to the girl next door sorts that she usually plays).

And Jason Schwartzman was good as usual.
