Very dark noir that doesn't always work amidst all the mayhem and bloody carnage. However, the characters are surprisingly well developed so I cared about them, and the filmmakers even infuse some campy humor as well.
Jodie Foster leads the way here and gives an excellent performance and Dave Bautista is superb as well. I was pleasantly surprised by this one, and if one doesn't mind some of its very dark and grim themes, at times, there can be rewards here.
