This has a surprisingly amount of depth and drama for a film called 'Hot Tub Time Machine'. It's a really good film. While there are plenty of laughs here that wasn't the thing that won me over.
What made it for me was the four lead characters, who are three-dimentional, likeable yet heavily flawed. By the end you end up caring for them and their personal problems. The chemistry between the actors is perfect with there being a real sense of friendship and history.
It's a film with plenty of laughs and a lot of heart.
