Hot Tub Time Machine was much, MUCH funnier than I anticipated. I expected a mediocre movie in which I would force myself to laugh so that I didn't have to accept the fact that such a great concept had been ruined.
Instead, I was treated to a laugh-a-minute, genuinely funny film where it seemed that the actors and writers were having just as much fun as they wanted the audience to. It greatly exceeded my expectations, and is one of the funniest movies I've seen in a long time.
