Review of Hot Tub Time Machine 2 (2015) by Jason C — 28 Feb 2015

I didn't think much of Hot Tub Time Machine (HTTM), so when I found out they were doing a part 2, I didn't care if I saw it or not. I ended up watching the second and am I glad I did. Make no mistake, HTTM 2 isn't a very good movie by any stretch of the imagination, but it was hilarious. I can't remember many times when I wasn't smiling or laughing at something utterly retarded going on.

These guys work well together, even Adam Scott, who I didn't think was going to fit with the rest of the cast. Craig Robinson and Rob Corddry had some of the best chemistry I'll probably see all year. Corddry's schtick can get old, but he kept a pace that was insane.

There's no need to keep track of the time dilemma most movies have, and this one probably does. That's not part of the fun. Just stretch your cheek muscles before you go in because HTTM 2 is a riot.
