Damn It! I was REALLY looking forward to this one. I loved the original, but UGH, this destroyed that achievement. Hot Tub 2 stars the same group of friends from the first one (Except John Cusack.... for some reason) and a newbie in Adam Scott. Listen, when you have a freakin Hut Tub Time Machine, that should be the recipe for success. But, the producers and the writers must have thought that there was not gonna be a 3rd one, because they really tried to push everything into the script. They have the future stuff, the getting shot, the Adam Scott Wedding, UGH. This guys had an extraordinary chemistry in the first one, but that totally went to waste. The Jokes were not funny, and it was even a bit irritating, coming from someone who died chuckling in the first one.
The End Credits though, ALMOST makes up for the demolition of Hut Tub 2.
Overall: HTTM2 is a big disappointment, and I really hope the writers do not get any work for the rest of their lives. Really looking forward to it.
Rating: 29% and a D+.
